About the Artist

I make unique, hand forged, one of a kind jewelry pieces. For everyday, for going out, for any occasion. I strive to create timeless, chic, everyday jewelry. I use recycled sterling silver, copper, semi-precious stones, glass, and found objects.

I am a silversmith/jewelry artist. If you can think it, I can make it. I purchase recycled sterling silver from a reputable online store. I've dabbled in some type of art from the time I was a child. I have been making jewelry for about 4 years (maybe 5 - but who's counting). It started at the local craft store. That was the end and beginning of my story. I have taken classes and workshops but read books and magazines daily on some type of art. I love to paint as well as design jewelry, make belt buckles, make cards, well the list goes on. Most days my mind goes in a million different directions. Too many ideas, too little time. I have to work hard to finish anything I do. I have a beautiful Canadian husband whom I adore. I waited many years to find him and am grateful he is in my life. I am a stay-at-home mom with 4 children. The little boys are 1st and 3rd grade, my big boys go to Texas State University. The house is very loud and full of life when they are all home! This might sound a little OCD, but I am a bit obsessed with buying organic pesticide-free fruits, vegetables and non-hormone/antibiotic-free beef and other meats. And the fish farming, don't get me started on that.  Oh, and the eggs, what exactly are those chickens eating anyway? I find it too complex, confusing and far too time consuming, at least in my world it is. I will say however shopping the perimeter of the grocery store takes a bit of the confusion out of the picture.  Whatever happened to just going to the grocery store anyway? So we recycle at home and I try my best to harass (in a good way) the people I know to do the same. Everyone should do their part whenever possible. BTW, we still eat out far too often but I try my best to shop smart for home.
